Homecare Solutions services are available to all eligible residents without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex or handicap.

Q: Who's going to provide my care and what are their qualifications?

A: All of our caregivers have plenty of experience and have been extensively trained to perform their job properly. They are given a criminal background check, drug screening, TB screening, 3 references and are cleared through the Illinois Department of Public Health.


Q: How are the services arranged, will someone come out to my home before services begin to assess my needs?

A: Services are arranged by making a simple phone call to our office. A manager will set up an appointment with you and your family to come into your home and discuss a care plan that will fit your needs before services start.


Q: How do I know who's coming out to my home to provide services and will I have the same worker each time?

A: You will receive a phone call from our scheduling coordinator to provide you with the caregivers name and a brief background on that caregiver. All caregivers will be wearing a pictured ID badge provided by Rest Haven Homecare Solutions. Our goal is to provide you with the same employee each and every time. We feel it's very important for you and the caregiver to form a trust and to also provide continuity of care.


Q: Are your caregivers bonded and insured?

A: Yes.


Q: Are you an employment agency and is there a finder’s fee or do your caregivers work directly for you?

A: We are not an employment agency, therefore there is no finders fee. We are a Private Duty agency meaning that all of our caregivers are employed and supervised by Rest Haven Homecare Solutions.


Q: Who's responsible for paying the caregivers (social security, income taxes, etc.)?

A: Rest Haven Homecare Solutions will provide the caregiver bi-weekly paychecks taking care of any taxes and obligations to the government.


Q: If I have a problem who can I call to get it resolved? Are you available 24 hours a day 7 days a week?

A: If a problem should arise we encourage the client/family member to contact our office so the matter can be taken care of. Most times it is just a simple explanation. Should you need assistance after office hours, or on the weekend, we have qualified staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. You will be instructed and provided with office phone numbers and cell phone numbers should you need them.


Q: How often am I billed?

A: You will receive a bill twice a month.
