What is Private Duty?
Private Duty is the term used for any homecare service not covered by Medicare. The services are usually for a long period of time but may be used for a short recovery from an illness or accident. Unlike Medicare, private duty services DO NOT require a doctor’s order, homebound status or skilled services. We tailor our services to meet each of our client’s needs. Therefore, services are arranged for as little as one hour daily to around the clock care, seven days a week. Our services have been categorized as the following: Home Companion, Personal Care Assistant, Alzheimer’s, Bathing, Transportation and Live-in.

Can I use your services?
Our services are tailored to fit the needs of seniors but can be used by people of all ages. Simple everyday chores may be difficult to perform without help. Family members planning a vacation may need assistance with a loved one at home while they’re away. Seniors with a chronic illness might not be able to get around on their own and those with Alzheimer’s might not be able to prepare meals, take their medication or bathe. We can help provide for you or your loved one, and allow the peace of mind that you deserve.

How can I arrange for services?
Before we begin providing homecare services, one of our qualified staff members will set up an appointment to meet with you and your family to discuss what type of services would best fit your needs and lifestyle. You or your loved one will be assigned an appropriate staff member by our Staffing Coordinator according to one’s specific service needs. We can be contacted at any of our two locations by phone, by email or you can visit any of our offices in person.
